Cannot Print After macOS Catalina 10.15.6 update

My printer can no longer see my MacBook Pro via wifi. Error message: "The printer is not responding."

What I've tried:

  1. Restarting my wifi router.
  2. Restarting the printer
  3. Restarting the MacBook
  4. Re-syncing the printer to the wifi
  5. Checking Image Capture. The device was visible there when the problem started; it isn't now.
  6. Checking System Preferences -> Printers and Scanners (it's there)
  7. Confirming through my wifi router's app that the printer is online, connected to the router and communicating with it, but that no activity is reaching it.

Printer: Canon MX920

System: MacBook Pro running macOS Catalina 10.15.6

Any help or suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup).

Any devices that previously appeared in your Printer List and Fax List will need to be added again after resetting the printing system.

Resetting didn’t help. The printer was visible to my laptop; the printer was connected to my WiFi (I reconnected it manually to make sure). Try to print, though, and suddenly the printer couldn’t be found. In the end, I had to delete the printer in macOS, wipe it from the WiFi, and then reinstall from scratch. Then it worked. Thanks for the responses and help.
