My laptop arrived 6/15/20, I see I have the free year of appletv+ offer which is very nice, but haven't signed up yet, how long is the offer good for? We don't watch much tv in summer!

If you setup your Mac laptop on 06/15/20 then the offer would be available for 3 months from that date. Once claimed you will have Apple TV Plus for the year, but once the offer expires it is gone, so even if you aren't watching now it's best to claim it.
