apple mac pro mouse problem.

My mouse for Mac Pro light is not on, therefore I cannot function with computer. I changed batteries and put in two new everready AA batteries... still no light and no connection to Mac Pro. Do you have any suggestions.

iMac 21.5″, OS X 10.11

Remove the new batteries and install them again.


As a remedy for possible corrosion on the battery contacts, roll the batteries over in the battery compartment, this slight scrubbing of their contacts may help remove the tiny corrosion that can sometimes interfere with normal operation.


Restart your Mac. if no joy, do an SMC Reset:
