Cant create empty an audio track

When I create a new audio track, no audio will play until I add a preset logic channel strip setting. Even using one of my custom channel strip settings will still make no sound. The live playback is silent and after recording it will sound like nothing too. Not sure if this is related, but when I disconnect all busses from a track the track will become silent as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

There is no output selected on the Channel Strip. So it is normal there is no audio output. Select an output on the Channel Strip.

Also check the output device in Audio Preferences.
