got an ipad from a school district auction, it has a students Apple id. It is obvious that it cannot be unlocked since the district doesn't keep track of their students, how can i reset it

How can i reset an ipad whose owner is unreachable

If you have the auction proof of purchase AND If you have any “local” Apple Stores open near you, you could go and see if they can reset this iPad for you.

Someone that posted here a few weeks ago, bought some iPads from an auction and Apple was able to reset them all with auction house proof of purchase.
