Old iPod not allowing me to acess my Apple Music library

Anyway, I really need some help getting the music onto there, how do I do it?

(Also, not to cause misconfusion, the iPod 4th generation can't upgrade to over iOS 6.1.6, and therefore doesn't have a sync library offline function in the settings that works with apple music, like the current version of iOS would have.

You can't sync Apple Music or an iCloud Music Library to a device without signing in to an Apple ID that has a paid subscription on that device.
