How many months should I pay for 50GB storage upgrade? Is there any way you to get lifetime plan? What if I stop renewing my upgrade plan?

There is no lifetime plan and no billing option other than monthly billing. You pay for it monthly until you cancel by downgrading back to the free 5GB plan.
