FaceTime & iMessage activation error

FaceTime & iMessage unsuccessful activation error! Recently did a reset on my iPhone 8 Plus iOS 13.6.1 & tried to activate FaceTime & iMessage & it said unsuccessful activation error! I'm successfully connected to my wifi & I don't know what else to do. Should I wait? Because I don't want to interrupt the downloading on everything from the iCloud & my backup.

This is what solved it for me:

I ordered a new SIM card & took it to my mobile carrier they activated it & I was inspired by the following post:

Messages Troubleshooting.   


Some other things you can try. Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try? That has worked for several people.


Try a restart.


Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch         


Try a forced restart.


Reset Device.      


If necessary


Hard reset.        


Do a backup and try a factory reset. Then restore from your backup.


Restore to Factory setting.      


Backup - Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup
