Do I need GPS and cellular to get text through Apple Watch?
I want to be able to get texts through my watch. Do I need gps and cellular or just gps ?

You can get notifications on your Watch so long as your iPhone is nearby or you are connected to WiFi. If you don't have your phone nearby or won't be in range of WiFi, you'll need cellular.
