iPad to android texting, My iPhone is broken cannot go to settings can only read text messages trying to text from my iPad to android galaxy six

If you don’t have access to a working iPhone that is associated with your account, you’ll not be able to configure (or confirm) that the correct settings...


If you swap you SIM into a working iPhone, and sign-in to iCloud with your AppleID, you’ll need to set/verify these settings:


On your iPhone:

Settings > Messages > Text Message Forwarding - set to ON - and explicitly enable your iPad from the list of devices.

Settings > Messages > MMS Messaging - set to ON


Also ensure that Messages in iCloud is enabled on both your iPhone and iPad:

Settings > [Your Name / AppleID] > Messages - set to ON
