Problem adding a payment - rejected

iTunes will not accept the credit cards I want to use with it. The cards are Visa cards issued by main stream banks in the US. The error message I get says “this payment method can’t be used with the iTunes Store“. I already have one credit card that is being used by iTunes, but I want to change it. Any suggestions?

See -- If your payment method is declined in the App Store or iTunes Store – Apple Support.
