Controlling Macs with Apple Remote models

I know the Apple Remote (aluminum) is capable of controlling Mac computers which have the internal IR receiving sensor. Would I be correct in guessing that both of the other 2 remote models, the Siri Remote/Apple TV Remote & the Apple Remote (white), can do so also?

The Siri remote is a bluetooth remote for everything but volume control. It is only compatible with Apple TV (4th generation or later).

The Apple Remote (white) works through its IR transmitter, much like the aluminum model, though functionality might be limited.
