Mac says update available

But, I keep clicking update now, and it won't. But, I get NO ERROR MESSAGES.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.15

  1. Restart your Mac - try it once more
  2. Create a New Administrator User - see if you can install it through that user
  3. Remove Security Software (Iff Applicable) - get the uninstaller from the developer, and none other - elsewise, it may end up being malware or spyware that you install. It may be preventing this pop up.
  4. Boot into Safe Mode: Hold Down the shift key upon boot. In Safe Mode, login items are set aside along with caches for Application settings
  5. Try Later - Perhaps your Mac is not responding due to certain processes taking part.
