iphone wont connect to hearing aids

When I updated my iphone 8 to ios 13.7, it no longer connected to my Kirkland

signature 8.0 hearing aids.

After long fruitless chat session, I deleted and reloaded my Connexx app for the hearing aids. Went through the steps in the app and hearing aids paired.
