Do refunds go back to my bank account?

i asked for a refund and it said it got approved but it’s been a day and i don’t see the cash in my account but when i go to purchase history it says pending does that mean the cash still hasn’t got to my account still?

i’ve asked for a refund the 27th the email said it refunded me 28th at 3 pm and it’s the 30th and it says pending on itunes and isn’t on my account so i have to wait more or did they not go thru with my refund

so my son made a purchase using my itunes gift card codes and i filed a refund but they said i was refunded so when i went to the app store it still said 0 credit so idk if they sent it to my bank account

what if i got a itunes gift card? would it still go back to my bank account
