Apple Id and password

I have updated my password on my apple Id, got email confirmation and it accepts it online but when I try to sign in the app store on my phone it keeps saying password invalid. Driving me crazy.

Have you tried signing out of the App Store/iTunes, restarting the device, and then signing back in?
