Mail reader expands address with wrong name

Email to me expands the address <lip@xxx.xxx> to display Natalie <lip@xxx.xxx>. Previous recipients have my real name correctly, and contacts do not associate me with Natalie. This began when I added her phone number to contacts directly from mail and Siri put my email into her contact. I deleted that, but the association has not gone away.

The incoming mail raw source does not have Natalie in it, implying that the mail reader is doing the expansion. Where does it get this data and how do you modify/correct it?

I did indeed. I don't think that is the problem. It is more contact list based.

Later I rebooted and the problem went away. It appears that mail caches this stuff.

There are just too many databases involved here.
