Why does my iPhone X not see/acknowledge the ios14 update? Phone states my software is up-to-date. Currently running ios 13.7.

It typically takes a while to roll out since Apple manage release based on both capacity and geography.
There are billions of devices out there - imagine if every single one tried to download iOS 14 in the first minutes of its release.
Delete iOS 13 beta profile by going into settings> General> Profiles.
Restart and check for updates.

I can understand that but if that’s the case Apple should say that the availability will be staggered. I’m 2-days in and haven’t been given the chance to upgrade yet. Frustrating
