Have new release ios 14 drained battery fast?

Until I updated my iphone 8 to IOS 14, never had a problem with the battery. It would last all day and charge at night at 60% on average. IOS I ran out of battery before 5pm; today same thing. Seems to drain 50% battery in just a few hours. Any suggestions ?
Restart does not fix the problem. Both my iPad Pro and iPhone 8 are having the batteries run down quickly. I charge my phone overnight and by early evening battery is down to about 35%. Seeing similar pattern with the iPad. If you haven't updated to 14 I would hold off a bit.
I’m same, my phone is essential as I’m a type 1 diabetic and use it to scan my blood sugar, it’s run out of battery by lunch time??
I heard they said restart the phone might fix the issue about the battery. Try and let me know.
Not really, I have restarted my phone a couple of times but I'll time it better today as I'm at work, regular usage of the iphone and I will edit the post.
It improved but did not seemed to fix it.
