How can I erase my iphone 11 when it will not connect to wifi which means I cannot sign in to my apple account, which it requires in order to erase it

You can connect it to a Windows or Mac based computer with iTunes and then restore it to factory settings from there. The thought process here is that the computer has the ability to connect to the internet and validate the iPhone before erasing it.
