iMac 2020 (27") External Monitor resolution

Hi,

I've got a DreamColor HP Z27x G2 Studio Display that supports 2560x1440. It's connected to an iMac 27" 2020 via the HP supplied USB-C cable. However I can not get the display to show all the resolution options (OPT- click on "Scaled"). It tops out at 2560x1080. Nor can I set anything other an 30Hz refresh when the display supports 60Hz. According to the monitor's user manual, it supports all resolution options through USB-C (DP alt mode).

Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Please refer to Use external monitors with your Mac, if you cannot get the correct resolution as stipulated in Tech Specs for your iMac than look in the manual for the external display to make sure you are missing anything and if necessary call AppleCare using the AppleCare Contact Info link.
