My MacBook Air battery won't charge

I have restarted it several times and even powered it down all night as it was charging. It was only 10% charged.

Please read follow all the instructions in If your Mac battery status is "Not Charging" including all the links at the bottom, followed by If your Mac battery won’t charge.

If your MacBook Air uses a USB-C power adapter please read Find the right power adapter and cable for your Mac notebook - Apple Support. Emphasis on the cable because it's frequently overlooked.

If your MacBook Air uses a MagSafe power adapter please read Apple Portables: Troubleshooting MagSafe adapters.

If all else fails Contact Support.
