iphone paring

It seems since the new update on my iphone se i can't make calls from our vehicles. The phone says the bluetooth is connected the vehicles show the contacts on the screens they accept my commands but after 20 or 30 seconds a prompt shows up the the screens that says check the phone ?

I'm wondering if I have to use carplay with a cable to solve this problem if that doesn't work i will call Hyundai.
