How to change or delete my profile picture shown to left of my name in macOS App Store (below menu entry "Updates")?
I have already changed my profile picture of my own contact with Contacts App and the one of my AppleID on my iPhone. The picture in the macOS App Store remains the old one though. Is it a bug or where it is linked to?

Thanks! App Store alone wasn't enough, but signing out/in of AppleID in macBook settings did it. It's a pretty severe step as this affects various data syncs to iCloud, nevertheless it fixed the problem (current AppleID photo is now also displayed in App Store).

You could try signing out of the App Store then sign back in.
It's the AppleID picture. Maybe it will take a while to updated.
I have already changed and deleted my AppleID picture several times within the past year or maybe longer than that. Unfortunately it has never affected the App Store - even when I updated macOS.
