I recently updated my Mac software and had to update my Adobe flash player. I like to play games online that require flash player but for some reason it is still not working. I have tried a number of things as indicated online such as changes in the preference settings but still no luck. Can anyone perhaps give me some help with this?

The same way all old abandoned no longer supported apps work. They fade into obscurity because of security and no support issues. They stop working on newly released software and apps.
Flash support was removed from Safari 14.0. Adobe announced the EOL for flash approx 3 years ago, which ends 12/31/20

But Adobe, the distributors of Flash are ending support end of this year. There will be no updates, security releases, or anyone developing Flash apps.
