How do I insert a font into the latest version of pages. I am working on a Mac.

Pages allows you to select recognizable, installed fonts with its font picker, once you have a document open. However, fonts in Pages documents are not embedded, and are only references to the font that is installed and used in the document.
I should have explained this better. I copied a document into a new file in my iCloud Drive using pages to edit it further. This is where I noticed the font I had been able to use was no longer available in this new file. How do I reintroduce an existing font in my document to use in the new file I created? Font is Lucida Calligraphy. Thanks,
Are you trying to access your doc via a browser now? I don't think you an add fonts to iWork for iCloud.
If you have installed a font but cannot see it in the drop down font menu, try finding it in Format > Font > Show Fonts
