I am not able to set up the date and time in my Macbook

Hi Apple Team,

I am using 15" Macbook. I am not able to set the calendar into my system preferences even though laptop is connected to the internet. I tried to set up manually. The calendar is not changing to the current month and year if I check the "Set date and time automatically" option. The calendar is picking the year as 1942 in the automatic mode.

I have also tried to do with Manual method. I can't change the year beyond 1959 by tying. I can go to the current year and month(9/2020) in the calendar clicking on the arrows in the below calendar box. It is also showing incorrect date and day.

I have attached the images for your reference.

I request you to help me to fix this issues.
