Attempting to upgrade to Mojave. Get msg that install Mojave application is damaged & can't be used. Get msg when accessing the app on both the App Store & Launchpad. What do I do to get a good app. I'm not experienced in this stuff.
When you get to the App Store Mojave download page it should say Get or Download.
If however it says Open the App Store has detected that there is a copy of the Install macOS Mojave.app
in your Applications folder. Move that to your Trash and empty the Trash.
Connect your mac to your router via cable and restart your mac.
Go back to the App Store Mojave download page and try again.
Do not use the mac while it is downloading or any other devices that share the same internet connection.
