My Apple ID password isn’t working

I forgot my old Apple ID password so I made a new one but then some of my apps didn’t update and when I tried to update them it would say enter your Apple ID but in the space where to type it in it said password so I typed in my Apple ID and it was incorrect and I did my new password and it was incorrect as well so I made a new password and it still won’t work. I have automatic updates on and like every two months one or two apps finally update but they aren’t the ones I need so I really need help

Those purchases are tied to the other ID and can't be transferred. One option is to delete the apps/purchases made by the other ID and download them using the new ID if desired. If necessary, check your purchases history to see which apps/purchases weren’t made by the current ID.
