I connected smart keyboard with ipad 7th generation, there is a dot on the screen. When I typed the right side of keyboard from key 7 to , there is no letter on the screen and dot moved up and down. How could I fix this problem? Thank you.

I got this once (some time ago) but after changing some settings and rebooting my iPad it went away although I did think I had a faulty keyboard.
Settings/Accessibility/Touch/Assistive Touch/Mouse Keys
Use Primary Keyboard = On
Mouse Keys = Off
