You may want to use the cycle region to mark the section of the recording you want to bounce:

Enable the cycle region by clicking the Cycle button in the toolbar (the button with the two chasing arrows)
Click into the bar with the measures to mark the measures you want to share. The measures should appear with a yellow bar.
Now click the Share button and select to share to Music.
In the Share dialog enable the option to share the cycle area only.
