incorrect location

My brand new 27" iMac (Aug 2020) thinks I'm 8 miles from where I actually am. WHY? The Apple support page was no help. My old iMac (mid 2011) never had this problem. Through three moves in two states, my location was always accurate. My new 27" iMac is in the exact spot, on the same wifi network as my old iMac was for the past two years. Location services are enabled.
