Do you get notifications when a friend pulls up your location with the Find My app?

If someone is sharing their location with you indefinitely with the Find My app, do you receive a notification each time they look at your location? I know a new notification feature in iOS 13 gives a notification each time a person arrives or leaves a specific location. I did not know however if any notifications were provided if someone simply looks at your location. Didn’t know if anything like this was added with iOS 14 either.

Thanks

No you do not receive a notification. That's the whole point of Find My [Friends]. You have given your consent to be part of the Find My group. If you have changed your mind you can remove yourself from it.

Read Apple's instructions for iOS 14 here which includes instructions for turning off and on your location sharing. This will hide your location from a friend or a group rather than leaving the group.
