iCloud phot0 not showing up

Just got my iPhone 12 and used it last night to take photos. When I looked on my Photo on my MAC I didn't see the photos appear, nor did they show up on ICloud Photos. Wondering if their is a fix or not?

iMac, macOS 10.12

I figured it out, I guess the iPhone was still fetching the backup as I switched to a new iPhone and now seems to work fine.
