IMac won’t open properly or recognize mouse or keyboard. IMac only 7 months old

Plug your keyboard (and your mouse) to your iMac using a USbB->Lightning cable. It should force your iMac to re-pair with each one. Make sure the batteries are fully charged as well. It's a rare problem, but it does happen.
