Which password are you asking about? Your Apple ID password?

If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support


Or are you talking about the passcode that unlocks the device?

If you forgot the passcode on your iPad, or your iPad is disabled - Apple Support


Or an email password, an app password???
