How come since I updated to Catalina my Map app on the dock is showing? my location and have location service off. What else can I check to take of the location of my area? It never did this on Mojave.

When you are in the Google Maps page, click on the three horizontal lines, click on "Your data in Maps". disable "Location History".
Hi, all you have to do is remove maps from your doc. It is not tracking you as long as you have location services of in settings.
Not sure I understand. But, if you don't want the Map icon in the Dock you can just drag it off or right/control click on it and choose "Options> Remove from Dock".
I do not want to delete it is there other locations I can see if its turned on somewhere else?

You're welcome. If you have Location Services disabled in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy, then it's off.
I tried that already as well still have it as my location do not like this. Like I said never on Mojave did this.

FWIW, Google Maps and the macOS app are two different things. You can get Google Maps to forget your location in the Google Maps page settings.

I went to your data then to manage location and it said off. Can I use this map a app on the dock now?
Ok thank you but I really hate i when my location shows up on google maps to bad there was a way to take that off.
