Why can’t I download iOS 14. I have a iPhone 6 plus

The iPhone 6 Plus does not have the required hardware (insufficient RAM) to update further.

The 6 is too old, it doesn’t have enough RAM for iOS 13 and 14. It’s stuck on iOS 12.4.8, for any version beyond that you would need a new (current-gen) iPhone.
