screen time

i have just got a new iphone, my old one will not reset as my stepmum will be getting it. its because of my screen time password, i havent had one before so i changed it and it still wont work

Use Screen Time on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

If you forgot your Screen Time passcode - Apple Support

Once you have the password for Screen Time, you should be able to turn if off in Settings > Screen Time.. and then restore your device to factory settings
