Does anyone know why FCPX renders all my Lower Thirds Titles (not others) whenvever a project is reloaded? In some cases, it actually reverts the title back to the original format and ignores any changes I have made to the settings.

It’s the Lower Third Basic title Tom. Using this I applied multiple titles and changes the font to Gill Sans. Once I export or reload the project it re-renders and defaults back to the Helvetica Neue font. With my own title FCPX re-renders every title usage whenever I reopen the project.

That’s interesting. Nothing came up when I searched the issue.

Still doesn’t answer why it continually re-renders the title I created in Motion? Ok I understand I can turn rendering off but that doesn’t really resolve the issue.

I haven’t had a chance to try Fox’s title yet. On my new Motion created title it’s only the title that keeps re-rendering, all other parts of the video (and interestingly other titles) are ok. Maybe it’s something to do with the Motion settings. It’s a bit annoying but not a major problem, so assuming Fox’s new title works I’ll leave it there.

It’s not just the rendering Luis. When I export the video FCPX reverts the title font to the default and ignores all my changes. This is irrespective of whether any rendering has been completed.
