MacBook Pro unexpected restart

My laptop keep restarting unexpectedly out of nowhere. My laptop was working fine until today it keeps restarting at random. My laptop software is up to date and I also did a virus scanned and it said zero virus. I also did a NVRAM reset and SMC reset. Has this happen to anyone and if they know how to fix it. Thank you in advance.

Is the following applicable?

If your Mac restarts and a message appears - Apple Support

Uninstall whatever "virus scanner" you may have installed. Those things are worthless and are only capable of causing trouble. Follow its uninstallation instructions, assuming it has any and that they actually work.

Hi John

No, there is no message. It would just restart and bring me to the log in screen. I would be using my laptop then the screen goes blank and then the log in screen appear. Then I log in again and everything seems to be normal.

The virus scanner, I downloaded that after the issue started happening to check if my laptop had a virus. I didn’t have a virus scanner prior. Usually, I just use my laptop for school so I’m never on an unknown website. I also haven’t downloaded anything recently.

I have exactly the same issue. No error message after logging in again and it will work just fine until it randomly restarts again. Tried to update my OS to the latest version of Catalina (Big Sur requires a huge storage space) available but it didn't fix the issue.
