IPad Air 2

Is there an apple Ipen or Ipencil that works with IPad Air 2 (around 2014 release, not sure of generation)

Apple Pencil is not compatible with iPad Air2 - as the Air2 lacks the required screen hardware with which the Pencil interacts.

You can use Apple Pencil (2nd generation) with these iPad models: 

  • iPad Air (4th generation)
  • iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd generation) and later
