After IOS 14 update I couldn't able to update to IOS 14.1 and now 14.2 also the same issue. my iPhone xs max still running IOS 14 and couldn't able to update it.it always shows ERROR OCCURRED (4000). kindly help to resolve this issue.

The problem is if i update my iphone via wifi it get updated. But if i try to update it via itunes from my pc it shows the error 4000. I couldn’t able to get the solution for error 4000 in apple forums.
Old error due to driver bug. Turn off passcode and keep your device unlocked until the update starts. Note that you'll need to re-add stuff to Wallet app if you have anything there.
It's a bug in iTunes drivers. OTA works, but you need to turn off the passcode if you use iTunes.
