Contact wont' drag to a group and out of groups. I just got an Mac book AIr - on Catalina 10.15.7.
( It works fine on my macbook pro or I mac still on Mojave 10.14.6 . and it works when I drag contact on icloud - )

Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode?
Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches & loads safe Drivers, & prevents loading of 3rd party extensions, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.

Indeed it worked in safe mode. and when I rebooted the pb had vanished. Bravo . thanks
