Big Sur update: message: Installation failed. An error occurred while installing the selected updates.

Apple is reporting issues with Mac OS update servers.

Apple server is down at the moment https://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/

Do nothing and wait till it recovers

Apparently the issue is resolved (according to apple.com) but I still receive the same info, that the error occurred?

Same here still getting same message hours after the the issue was Supposedly fixed
