I’ve got plenty of space, I just got my laptop a month ago, I’ve tried to download it 3 times and it makes it all the way to the end and then it says there was a problem and couldn’t update, it says “ the package “%@“ is missing or invalid” but it doesn’t tell me what the problem is, and it takes all frickin day to download and then it never completes, frustrating!!!!
First, you need 35.5GBs of free space on the drive. Then you can open the App Store, type "Big Sur" into Search, then click "Get".
