My iPhone no longer automatically ends a sentence with a period when a double click. Can I get that function back?

Check to see if Settings > General > Keyboard > "." Shortcut is turned on.

Auto Punctuation My auto punctuation quit working suddenly on my iPhone 13 when texting. I’ve check my keyboards, turned everything on and off multiple times.
