Unwanted Mail Folders
After installing Bid Sur OS I have lots of empty folders which clutter my side bar. How do I get rid of them? Have tried option delete and command delete which don't work.

I finally figured out how to delete all he empty "recovered" folders. Go to Mailbox/Accounts/Delete Mailbox. That deletes the empty folder. There were also some ancient messages that I looked at, deleted them and then deleted the Mailbox.

Me too. They're all on tipdown arrows next to Favorites, On My Mac and Icloud.
I tipped the arrows up to hide the mailboxes. I now see and use only Icloud.
I think I had to change which Junk mailbox I used in Mail Preferences Accounts/mailbox behaviors.
So far, all seems to be working alright.
