Shuts of half way after accesing my account

When I start up my mid 2010 MacBook I select my account and the progress bar appears and about half way it just shuts of.

Try safe mode to see if it can help/fix any background issue.

Be sure MacBook has been on charger for at least an hour

and plugged in while attempting troubleshoot problems.

(To check for power issues, try resetting SMC, per instructions.

To be sure the MacBook is actually shutting off, you may press

and hold power-key (the 'on/off' button) down for 15 seconds.
