JVC camcorder compatibility with MacBook Air

I have an older JVC Everio camcorder (30GB Hybrid). Can I shoot videos and transfer them to my MacBook Air with a USB cord?

Looks like it comes with a dock that has a mini-USB port. So, yes. You’d need a mini-USB to USB-A or -C cable depending on your Mac’s ports.
